Grand County District 2 Commissioner candidate Shanna Ganne released the following statement on the decision by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to allow lethal management of wolves under certain conditions:

“This is an acknowledgement by CPW of the reality and burden put on the ranchers in our community through the statewide vote that put into place the reintroduction of wolves. Our rural voices coming together are strong and have been heard. This vote by the commission is a win for our community. We must advocate for CPW to continue to take action on this issue and shifting the burden from ranchers to the state.”
