Grand County Historical Association Executive Director and Granby community leader Shanna Ganne announced her candidacy for Grand County District 2 Commissioner and released the following statement:

“In honor of International Women’s Day, I am proud to announce that I am running for Grand County Commissioner for the District 2 seat.

I am running to bring the voice of the working community to the table. I will advocate for those that struggle with housing, living wages, food insecurity, accessing healthcare, and childcare. I want your voice to be heard.

I believe in democracy and freedom. I believe in the sharing of ideas and opinions through thoughtful discussion will find the solutions to many of the issues Grand County faces.
